Amanda Clark Katz was a contestant on Season 13 of MasterChef. She ranked in 20th place.
Personality[]
As a stay-at-home mom from suburban California, Amanda wanted to do something for herself after years of taking care of her family. Being health-conscious, she went down this route due to being out of her comfort zone with State Fair food. Unfortunately, her rendition of fish tacos was boring and showed a lack of technique, leading to her early elimination.

Quotes[]
- "I have three kids, I've spent my life making sure they're well taken care of every single day- I love being a mom. But, cooking is my passion, obsession, now it's my time."
- "When I think of county fairs, I think of food that I typically would not eat."
- (After being eliminated) "I'm very sad to be the first one eliminated. I really saw myself going a lot farther than this. Even though my journey ended early, I still know I can cook, I still know that I have a lot to prove the world, and I'm going to do that."
