Season 4[]

Audra Morrice is an account manager with a strong passion for food. She decided now is the time to chase that passion and apply for MasterChef Australia.

"Cooking for me is incredibly fulfilling and it's very satisfying to be able to put your heart and soul into a meal."[1]

Season 17[]

Returning to the MasterChef Australia kitchen is a full circle moment for former account manager Audra Morrice, after placing third in Season 4. Now an in-demand television presenter, guest speaker and author, Audra holds the role of judge on MasterChef Singapore and was on the judging panel of MasterChef Asia. Now, she prepares to come Back To Win in the kitchen where it all began.

An accomplished businesswoman, Audra has run her private and corporate catering business across Sydney and Singapore for 13 years, and has published two cookbooks, her first My Kitchen, Your Table in 2015, and her second, Cook & Feast in 2018.

Fronting her own cooking show, Tasty Conversations on SBS Food Network, was a highlight and she is currently working on a brand-new series, Eat Roam Relish which will explore the importance of culture and connection through food.

Audra notes that in season four, her time in the kitchen was an exploration of identity that ultimately led to an understanding of her role as a custodian of culture. It’s a role she has treasured and taken into all she has conquered since. In addition to her professional highlights, Audra is a proud mum to two sons who as young adults, are now curious cooks.

Aiming to showcase the importance of diversity and to further deepen the understanding of South East Asian cuisine during Back To Win, Audra cites chillies, tamarind, eggplants and figs amongst her favourite ingredients, with a preference for savoury over sweet.

Knowing that the MasterChef Australia kitchen has a way of pushing cooks past their limits, she is preparing to take more risks this time around, and resolves to be adventurous with her cooking, and with that, more vulnerable.

Highly active within the global sustainability and gastronomic tourism movement, Audra holds various board positions and ambassadorial roles and is currently patron of the Australia Malaysia Singapore Association and sits on the Advisory Board of the ASEAN-Australia Centre. With a palpable desire to share her passions, Audra hopes to inspire others with a dream to take their first steps towards it.[2]
