12-year-old Carter started cooking with his parents, but grew to love it even more when cooking with his grandparents. He also credits watching lots of cooking shows with further stoking his love of being in the kitchen, along with experimenting with lots of concoctions.
Naming Italian as his favourite cuisine because it’s delicious, Carter loves making pastas and desserts, and has a flair for presentation. His dream is to one day be a chef and own a hatted restaurant. The eldest of two boys, (brother Finley is eight), outside of cooking Carter is right into sports including soccer, touch footy, swimming, little athletics and even hip-hop dancing.
Carter prides himself on always staying positive and loves to experience new things and have fun. He loves cooking and learning about new and different flavour pairings and is looking forward to making new friends in the MasterChef kitchen. Carter hopes that by taking part in Junior MasterChef, he will show other kids that you can achieve anything you put your mind to.[1]
