Personality[]
Charlie had a big heart and was a very confident, determined, and fun-loving person, but made a few stumbles along the way and headed into a downward spiral. He was always optimistic about surviving the competition even when the odds were against him. However, he was making too many simple mistakes and it continued to get worse when he was the main cause for losing a team challenge and during the Pressure Test, where he is best known for making one of the most memorable desserts in the history of the show by baking a sloppy birthday cake that surprisingly tasted delicious. However, it wasn’t enough to keep him in the competition.

Charlie did not receive an apple from Dan and thus was forced to compete in the first elimination challenge. He made an apple pie that Graham critiqued that although it was delicious, he played it too safe as it was very generic. Fortunately it was good enough to avoid the bottom three, thus earning his safety.
