Christian Collins was a contestant on Season 2 of MasterChef. He ranked in 3rd place.
Personality
Initially, Christian seemed generally nice. Outside the competition, he was confident, humble and energetic. Inside the competition however, he was shown to be extremely competitive. After Max was eliminated, he became increasingly cockier and more arrogant, becoming a selfish narcissist. He had a horrific and contemptuous attitude, was highly disrespectful towards all the other cooks and as a result, treated them horribly, especially during team challenge when he wasn't above trying to throw his teammates under the bus on multiple occasions. He also had a hot temper and was defensive towards the judges' criticism whenever his competitors stood out instead of him and would often refuse to take accountability for his mistakes, to which he would get severely chewed out by the judges, especially Ramsay and Joe. His ego became too big and he was insulting everybody, as his constant negative energy and lack of empathy sent tremors in the entire kitchen as everybody turned their back on him, and had clashes with many people, along with running feuds with Adrien, Max, Suzy, and a longer one with Jennifer. Apart from those he did not get along with, he was apparently tolerated by Ben and Alejandra. In the kitchen, despite his arrogance, he was unarguably the most consistent and strongest cook of the season, excelling in both individual and team challenges and was often respected by the judges and the other cooks by his cooking skills, even having the former believe that he could be the potential winner after his audition. While he could easily back up his arrogance with his string of good performances, it was also one of his greatest weaknesses because it prevented him from taking his cooking skills to the next level, which was the main reason for his elimination.

- After his appearance, Christian did a number of cookery events including hosting the Culinary Fight Club in Boston and launched a catering business.

If you don't come into this competition believing that you can make it to the end, then you're not gonna win MasterChef. You can be arrogant to a point, but you have to humble yourself in certain situations, regardless of how great you know you are."
