Murt started his audition poorly, burning his butter. He was immensely nervous, as seen in his motion through out his audition, his hands were shaking and he was sweating. He made a lobster tempura roll with lobster slaw topping and spicy mayo. Gordon was first, and he gave Murt a no for "dangerous cooking" and not getting that crunch from the roll. Joe was next and he gave Murt a yes for his energy and dish. Both, Aarón and guest judge, Nick DiGiovanni gave Murt a yes, earning him an apron to represent Gen Z.
