Darah Carattini was a contestant on Season 6 of MasterChef. She ranked in 20th place.

Personality

Darah was radiant and sunny as a person outside of the kitchen. She seemed to get along with her fellow contestants. However, she was a poor team leader who like organization. She also annoyed the judges with her constant talking and beating around the bush when it came to issues her team had. She was eliminated due to her lack of experience baking, after serving raw cinnamon rolls.

Season 6

Episode 2

Darah was seen receiving her apron after defeating another home cook named James in her battle for an apron.

Episode 3

Darah wasn’t seen much during the Ingredients from Home Mystery Box, and she wasn’t called up as part of the Top 3. Later, when Dan had one apple left, he psyched out Derrick and threw it to Darah, who enthusiastically thanked him.

Episode 4

Darah was given the role of team captain for the first team challenge. Unfortunately, her lack of organization skills lead to the blue team faltering and ultimately losing. At the pressure test, Darah had the power to save five of her teammates but she beat around the bush too long mentioning all the things her team did well until Christina stopped her. She chose to save Ailsa, Claudia, Sara, Dan and Hetal but she succeeded in confusing the judges with her choices and annoying Katrina for choosing her friends instead of those who really deserved to be safe. She was given the option to save herself but chose not to because she was aware of her mistakes and chose to take responsibility for her actions. Hetal declined Darah’s offer and relinquished it to Derrick, who accepted it. Hetal ultimately won the pressure test and Darah, after serving raw cinnamon rolls was eliminated. Despite her poor leadership and picking favourites the other contestants respectfully bid her farewell.

• After her appearance, Darah continued to vlog until 2015 and did a number of modeling jobs. She currently sells clothing on Poshmark.
• She got married and is now known as Darah Harmon.
