Meet Esther, a 53-year-old homemaker who is determined to make her mark! Esther has had her eye on the prize for the past few seasons, but finally decided to take the plunge this year.
Esther's passion for cooking started at a young age, and she was heavily influenced by her late mother, who was an excellent cook, and her brother, who has grown up to be a celebrity chef. Her mom has honed her love of cooking since young by giving her food-themed toys, and since then, the kitchen has become Esther’s playground. She considers the wok, frying pan, pots, and knives her favourite toys.
As a marathon runner, she never gives up and believes that life is like a marathon, not a sprint. Her strength is that you can throw any ingredient at her, and she can cook with it. Esther's dream is to become a master chef, do private dining, publish cookbooks, and conduct classes.[1]
