Felix Fang was a contestant on Season 3 of MasterChef. She ranked in 7th place. She returned for Season 12: Back to Win, but failed to receive an apron.

Personality

Felix started off as an outspoken, cocky and arrogant cook in her audition, where she confidently told the judges that she would get an apron. However, she quickly humbled when she narrowly avoided getting rejected and kept a calm head, despite being emotional at some points, especially when she declined immunity after the first team challenge. She was also shown to be a friendly and genuine chef, which led to her getting along with the other home cooks. In the kitchen, she came out strong, especially when it came to team challenges as she had a very good work ethic. However, later on in the competition, she started to struggle when working under pressure during individual challenges, leading to her elimination. She developed friendships with Josh, Becky, Christine, and Frank. However, she had a one-sided feud with Monti due to conflicting personalities, although the two mended fences later on.

• After her appearance, Felix hosted an online web series on Vice and was a private chef catering events, She is currently working as an actress.

• She and Scott are the first contestants to reject immunity from competing in the Pressure Test.
• She was the first Taiwan-American contestant to compete in the American version of the show.
  • She would later be followed by Lynn (season 4), Jason (season 8), and Fred (season 10).
