Giuseppe Morisco was a contestant on Season 2 of MasterChef. He ranked in 10th place.

Personality

Giuseppe had a joyful and friendly personality and a huge immense for Italian food. Giuseppe started the season strong, and was notably remembered for speaking with Joe in Italian. During the majority of the competition, however, he flew under the radar, never landing himself in the bottom and winning multiple team challenges. Despite this, he began to emerge as a frontrunner during the later stages of his stay. Unfortunately, his leadership skills were questionable at best, as he was shown to easily get flustered. This, along with his raw eggs during the Eggs Benedict pressure test, led to his elimination.

Post MasterChef

• After his appearance, Giuseppe launched his own private chef company and for a cooking holiday company Food Lover Retreats. He opened his own restaurant Morisco Ristorante Italiano in Davao City with excellent reviews but closed within a year.
• He is currently living in Costa Rica where he is a private chef.

Trivia

• Giuseppe was the first Italian-American immigrant to compete in the series.
• Giuseppe was the first team captain of a losing team to be sent home in the following pressure test.
