Nicholas "Nick" Nappi was a contestant on Season 6 of MasterChef. He ranked in 4th place.
Personality[]
During his time in the kitchen, Nick was shown to be cool, calm and collected. His cooking skills were consistent and he was never in the bottom in individual challenges. However, one major mistake in the chocolate malted cake pressure test caused him to mess with the ratios, ending with a cake that while looking good, did not taste like Christina's, resulting in his elimination. He appeared to have gotten along with everyone in the kitchen, worked very well with Stephen in most team challenges, and notably developed a very close friendship with Claudia.

Quotes[]
- (Commenting on Stephen's leadership skills) "A good team has a great leader. And great leaders control their team. Right now, if Stephen told me to scale off the side of the building and clean a window, I'm gonna clean a window."
- (After saving Stephen from the birthday cake pressure test) "I'm a competitor and I know this is a competition, but Stephen worked his ass off. He kept the team on track and he really deserved to be saved."
- (After the Blue Team saved Olivia from the fruit tart pressure test) "The Blue Team came together and decided on Olivia because, as simple as it is, Olivia's a hell of a team player and we like having her around."
- (Staying true to his heritage) "Being Italian, some people call me Nicky Gnocchi. I mean, I've been rolling gnocchi out with my grandmother since I could see over the counter. I could make gnocchi in my sleep, baby. Bring it on. Let's go."
- (After being eliminated) "It's bittersweet being eliminated; Top 4 was a huge accomplishment for me, Top 3 would've been better, and the winner would've been great, but I feel good, man. I feel really good. I've accomplished a lot, a lot more than I thought I would. I quit my job as a restaurant supply salesman to follow my dream and my biggest fear has always been 'Am I good enough?', but Gordon and Graham and Christina, they made me push myself; they made me believe in myself and it's a cool feeling, man. Today, I feel like a new man that took on a risk and made something of himself."
