Season 6[]

  • (To Graham) "I think you're talking to me a lot and it's screwing me up!"
  • (After being eliminated) "I'm the kind of person who used to make a lot of decisions out of like fear, but now I'm definitely far more confident in everything that I do. I really do feel like no matter what, this experience is what you win and like, the time you get to spend with Gordon Ramsay, Christina Tosi, Graham Elliot, like that's the win. Before MasterChef, I think I felt like really really stuck in my life, and I'm leaving now, but I feel free."

Season 12[]

  • "The judges really liked my plating, but the flavors basically got ripped a new one."
  • "I basically have my dream job. I'm a food stylist, I've produced cookbooks. I came here to prove to the judges my flavor is there and I'm so ready to win."
  • (After failing to receive an apron) "Even though I didn't get an apron, I feel so glad to have had the opportunity to be back in the MasterChef Kitchen at all."
