Richard "Richie" Jones-Muhammad was a contestant on Season 13 of MasterChef. He ranked in 19th place.
Personality[]
Richie had a friendly and easygoing personality, but struggled in both the challenges he participated in. His State Fair Dish of a deconstructed cheesecake was referred to as toppings rather than a complete dish, and he forgot baking powder for his cupcakes the following week, and lied about what the dish was supposed to be instead of owning his mistakes. These consecutive poor performances and simple mistakes led to his elimination.

Trivia[]
- He is the first person of his season to receive an apron.
Quotes[]
- (After being eliminated) "I know that I messed up today, but I'm super proud of the things that I've done. This has been the craziest experience. When I first came to the MasterChef kitchen, I was overly confident. And being thrown in that kitchen, you find out very, very quickly what your weaknesses are. So it's just motivation for me. Time for me to go back home, study up, and become a better chef."
