Susan "Suzy" Singh was a contestant on Season 2 of MasterChef. She ranked in 4th place.

Personality

Suzy was a self-proclaimed perfectionist, holding herself to high standards. Having been in culinary school when she competed in her season, she felt that she had a stronger culinary background compared to the rest of her competition, and did not shy away from voicing that opinion. This lead to most of her fellow competitors disliking her as she had the tendency to brag about her cooking skills. She was also shown to be arrogant and cocky, as she would often fail to realize her mistakes. Because of that, she had a short-lived feud with Max, and a longer one with Christian, the former because of his arrogance, and the latter because of his contemptuous attitude, although her ego did get under their skins. She also had a random dislike for Jennifer and Christine, believing the former stole her spot in the final three and believing the latter was skimping by the competition. However, she had respect for Alvin and his intellect. While she did have a strong start, impressing the judges with both her audition dish, her butter chicken in the chicken Bootcamp Challenge, and again in the first Mystery Box, she gradually went on a downward spiral, often hovering in the middle or bottom of the pack.
